MACEDONIA 500 Denari 1996

Front:

On the right side there is a large golden funerary mask from Trebeništa, showing the facial features in strong relief.
On the left are decorative elements and a small archaeological motif (such as a fibula), together with signatures and the denomination “500”.
The background shifts from yellow to orange, with geometric patterns and security features.
The face value “500” appears several times along with Macedonian inscriptions.

Reverse:

The reverse features a poppy blossom with stems and other stylized flowering plants, filling most of the design.
Macedonian text and the denomination “500” are placed in different areas of the note.
Dominant colours: shades of orange, green, and ochre, giving a warm overall look.
