Front:
The World Trade Centre and Bank of Ceylon Headquarters in Colombo; at the lower left the inscription “CHOGM 2013 Sri Lanka” replacing the butterfly. Also depicted are the Lankathilaka Viharaya Buddhist temple in Kandy, the Sri Lanka emerald-collared parakeet (Psittacula calthropae), and the Ceylon indigo royal butterfly (Tajuria arida).
Reverse:
A Thelme dancer and a Yak Bera drummer in traditional attire; the Padmanidhi guard stone and the stylized floral motif Dvithva Liya Vela as cultural design elements.
